Calcium charcoal grinding: for sale a complete new used line, re-branded Mectiles Italia

Mectiles Italia, after the success of Tecna 2022, which attracted hundreds and hundreds of customers from all over the world, had the opportunity to take over a new complete line, obviously used, for grinding calcium coal, which today, after the review by Mectiles Italia engineers, it is ready to be sold and adapted to customer needs. This complete line for grinding calcium carbonate consists of a series of specific machines, all available with the purchase of the complete line. Here are some photos of the same and the graph that summarizes all the machinery that composes it.

Ceramic materials: there is calcium carbon

Man discovered ceramic materials about 10,000 years ago; from then until today developments have been scarce and the term ceramic materials has predominantly indicated materials obtained by cooking clay mineral mixtures (sintering).

Ceramic – from gr. keramikós, clay –

More recently the meaning has extended to understand most of the hard non-metallic inorganic materials, characterized by brittle fracture, and also obtained with processes other than sintering, therefore also vitreous materials, cement, ionic compounds (NaCl), quartz, silicates, etc. are ceramic materials. For a long time the biggest problem for these materials was their fragility their use as structural materials is severely limited. Today with advanced preparation techniques, we are able in some cases to obtain ceramics with excellent fracture toughness, thus extending applications.

Ceramic materials are non-metallic inorganic materials, consisting of elements metallic and non-metallic linked together predominantly by ionic bonds and/or covalent. The chemical compositions vary greatly: we go from compound simple to mixtures made up of many complex phases linked together.

Material preparation

Most ceramic products are made using the particle consolidation.

An intimate mixing of the raw materials is done according to the properties required for the final ceramic product.

To these are added binders and lubricants and can be mixed with wet or dry.

Sometimes dry and wet processing are combined together in thiscase the particles are ground with water and binder until a slurry which is subsequently spray dried to form thus small spherical agglomerates which finally pass to the forming.
